Visit to three of the most representative populations of the Spanish Golden Age in the Campo de Montiel. Villanueva de los Infantes, Fuenllana and San Carlos del Valle.

In this tour we will visit:

  • Villanueva de los Infantes, it shows us majestic and arrogant as a town full of architectural treasures that wrap our gaze to the past among its legendary stones. It stands out for the wonderful conservation of its historical patrimony. Strolling through its streets and visiting its Plaza Mayor, does not leave indifferent.

 

  • Fuenllana a beautiful town that began to stand out in Roman times. And has the honor of being the birthplace of St. Thomas of Villanueva. Among its main architectural monuments has the Convent of the Order of St. Augustine, built on the house of the Saint. The convent shows its baroque style of the eighteenth century, has been declared a Cultural Interest, conserves the room of the Saint where are kept the relics of it. 
  • The last one is San Carlos del Valle, it opens to us from its splendid Plaza Mayor Everything is spread around the church of the Santísimo Cristo del Valle. Immersed in its spiral of order and art, the town opens to the comfortable visit of its plain, the breadth of its appearance and the laziness of leaving it.
